Spider-Man: Brand New Day Villains Possibly Revealed at Disney Event

It looks like Spider-Man fans might finally know which villains will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. According to reports from a recent Disney event, three classic foes are set to face off against Peter Parker in the upcoming film.

The news comes from Instagram user Chris Higashi, who attended the Disney Blockbuster Consumer Products presentation in Las Vegas. While no major news outlets have confirmed the details yet, Higashi’s account appears reliable and isn’t known for spreading rumors. Interestingly, other announcements from the same event—like Disney’s Formula 1 collaboration and Conan O’Brien’s role in Toy Story 5—also surfaced around the same time online, lending more credibility to his post.

Three Villains Reportedly Revealed

Scorpion might appear in Spderman All New Day as Villian

According to Higashi, a sizzle reel or some early promotional art shown at the event confirmed that the film will feature The Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tombstone as villains. This trio would mark an exciting change of pace, as none of them have had major roles in live-action Spider-Man films before.

Tombstone Might be the next villian you see in Spiderman: Brand New Day
  • The Scorpion is a long-anticipated character that fans have been eager to see on the big screen.
  • Boomerang and Tombstone are interesting choices as secondary antagonists. Their inclusion suggests a more street-level storyline, moving away from the multiverse-heavy direction of recent Marvel projects.
Asper the rumours Boomerang will be the a Part of Spiderman Brand New Day

While we still haven’t received any confirmation from Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures, this lineup would certainly shake up expectations and put to rest several other rumored villain appearances.

Avengers: Doomsday Also Teased

In addition to the Spider-Man news, a short preview for Avengers: Doomsday was also shown. While no footage of Doctor Doom was shared, a piece of comic art by Alex Ross featuring the character is reportedly being used for early promotion. Unsurprisingly, Marvel Studios didn’t reveal anything big like Robert Downey Jr. as Doom at this particular event.

What to Expect from the Movie

If this villain lineup is accurate, fans could be in for a grounded, action-packed story that avoids the complications of multiverse travel. While there’s no sign that Daredevil will appear, a cameo isn’t entirely out of the question.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker. The cast also includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón-Zayas.

The film is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
