The Hera Pheri movie franchise has been a fan favorite for years, featuring the iconic trio—Paresh Rawal as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty. However, recent developments have surprised fans, as Paresh Rawal reportedly walked away from Hera Pheri 3, causing controversy around the film’s production.
Following Rawal’s unexpected exit, Akshay Kumar, who is also one of the producers of the film, took legal action. According to Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner at Parinam Law Associates (representing Akshay’s production banner), the actor’s sudden withdrawal has led to major losses.
“There will be serious legal consequences. The franchise has suffered, and significant money has already been spent on the cast, crew, senior actors, equipment, and even the trailer shoot,” she said during a press statement to PTI.
Akshay Kumar, during a promotional interview for his upcoming film Kannappa, where he plays Lord Shiva, addressed the issue. He remained hopeful about finding a resolution.

“Whatever is happening is in front of everyone. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I hope things work out,” Akshay shared.
Meanwhile, Akshay has been enjoying a great run at the box office, with his latest movie Housefull 5 performing well. Despite the legal troubles surrounding Hera Pheri 3, the actor is staying positive and focused on future projects.
