Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s Jab We Met is one of the most iconic romantic comedies of Bollywood. The 2007 film was a huge hit and continues to be loved by fans even today. Now, it looks like a sequel to the film is finally in the works.
According to an entertainment portal, Jab We Met 2 is in the early stages of planning. The film will be produced by Raj Mehta under the Gandhar Films banner. It is being said that Imtiaz Ali, who directed the first film, will also direct the sequel.
While there is no official confirmation yet, there is speculation that Kareena and Shahid will reunite for the film and reprise their roles as Geet and Aditya, respectively.

Earlier this year, when Jab We Met was re-released in theatres, Shahid Kapoor talked about the potential sequel and said, “It really depends on the quality of that script. If there is a script that demands a sequel. But, if I feel it is the kind of script you read and say, this will be better than the original. It can match up to the original. I would do it. If I feel it is not. I am trying to use the brand value of the original. I would feel why are you doing it, do not do it.”
Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement about the sequel and to see if Kareena and Shahid will reunite for the film.
