In a sketch of “Whiskers R We,” McKinnon teamed up with musical guest Billie Eilish, reprising her role as the cat enthusiast Barbara.

The “Whiskers R We” skit featured McKinnon’s Barbara DeDrew, showcasing cats for adoption at their “Holiday Cat-tacular,” joined by Eilish playing an intern named Paw-bree Hep-purrn. With curly wigs and glasses, the duo humorously discussed their love for cats, presenting feline friends with playful banter.

Amid cuddling adorable cats, Barbara and Paw-bree discovered surprising similarities, from favorite movies to curse words, and even declaring Mariska Hargitay as their most beloved actor. The sketch took a comedic turn when Barbara jokingly claimed Paw-bree might be her daughter, leading to laughter and almost breaking character.

As the skit unfolded, Eilish introduced a cat named Lula, humorously describing its supposed plastic surgery. The mother-daughter duo concluded the sketch by deciding to move in together and exchange cats as Christmas presents, delivering laughs and showcasing McKinnon and Eilish’s comedic chemistry.
