Bollywood star Nushrratt Bharuccha, known for her role in Akelli, attended the HAIFA Awards in Israel. There, she sang a famous Bollywood song with her co-stars from the film. Unfortunately, shortly after, a conflict between Israel and Palestine erupted, leaving Nushrratt stranded in Israel.
The song she sang, “Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahaan” from the movie Yaarana, has now become a touching moment amidst the ongoing crisis. In Akelli, Nushrratt’s character faces a similar situation of being far from home during a war.

Nushrratt’s time in Israel was quite distressing. She lost contact with her family and team after an attack by Hamas. Thankfully, after a worrying period, she was able to reconnect with them. Her relieved mother shared the news of Nushrratt’s safety and return to India.
When Nushrratt finally arrived back home, she looked visibly shaken by her experience. She simply asked the media to let her go to her family. Our hearts go out to Nushrratt during this challenging time.
