Nicki Minaj Drops Bombshell! Halts Kanye West’s Album Release Over Explosive Collab Drama

In a surprising turn of events, Nicki Minaj has put a halt to the release of the collaborative track “New Body” with Kanye West, leading to the postponement of West’s highly anticipated album, “Vultures,” featuring vocalist Ty Dolla $ign.

Originally slated for release on Friday, “Vultures” faced an unexpected delay as West took to social media, reaching out to Minaj for clearance on the contested track. Minaj responded during an Instagram livestream, stating, “Regarding Kanye: that train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys.”

The collaborative song, an homage to plastic surgery titled “New Body,” traces back to 2018 when it was intended for West’s shelved project, “Yandhi.” Despite being re-recorded for the 2019 gospel album “Jesus Is King” with a reportedly more spiritual twist and a new Minaj verse, the track never saw the light of day. Minaj, expressing frustration in 2019, mentioned, “I done wrote three different verses, chile, and I don’t know. We ain’t seeing eye to eye on it.” The song was also considered for inclusion in West’s 2021 album, “Donda,” leaving Minaj to describe it as “the hit that got away.”

In the wake of the delayed “Vultures,” Kanye West has introduced “Yzy Pod,” described as “our first product since liberation from Adidas.” Priced at $200 or £159, this sock-like footwear design is hailed as “the foldable future of footwear.” This announcement follows West’s severed ties with Adidas after a series of controversial statements, including antisemitic remarks, sparked widespread condemnation.

While awaiting the eventual release of “Vultures,” which is anticipated to feature collaborations with Chris Brown, Kodak Black, Young Thug, and producer Timbaland, Kanye West continues to make headlines with his innovative ventures, including a recent change in the leadership of his Yeezy company, with Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy taking the helm.

In the world of Nicki Minaj, her latest album, “Pink Friday 2,” released last week, is poised to secure a position in the UK Top 3. With a confident and assertive style, Minaj’s album has received positive reviews, showcasing her prowess as an artist and commanding presence in the music industry.
