After the league stage match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli exchanged heated remarks. Kohli, who was charged up during the game, called on the Lucknow crowd to support Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Following the match, a video surfaced showing India cricket veterans apparently engaged in a dispute. As players exchanged handshakes, Gambhir approached Kohli, who was in conversation with the LSG coach. Other players and coaches intervened as Gambhir appeared agitated about something. LSG captain KL Rahul and coach Vijay Dahiya escorted Kohli away from Gambhir.
