In the snapshots, Randeep, dressed in elegant white attire, radiates the essence of a Manipuri groom, surrounded by his family and relatives. Lin, in another set of pictures, embodies the grace of a traditional Manipuri bride in a Potloi or Polloi—a cylindrical skirt crafted from thick cloth and bamboo, adorned with satin, velvet, gems, and glitter.
The wedding rituals unfolded at the Chumthang Shannapung resort in Imphal, where the couple, along with their families, had previously visited the Relief Camp at Moirang Lamkhai and Sendra Tourist Resort.

During an interaction with the media, Randeep expressed his joy and anticipation for experiencing the Manipuri tradition, emphasizing the importance of marrying in the bride’s tradition as a mark of respect. Reflecting on the cultural exchange, he mentioned the significance of immersing himself in Lin’s culture, underscoring their longstanding friendship that has now evolved into a family.
Lin Laishram shared the genesis of their relationship, recalling their meeting at Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group called Motley. She described their journey from friendship to a beautiful union.

Days before the wedding, Randeep had teased the announcement on Instagram, sharing a card with a message inspired by the Mahabharata’s tale of Arjuna and Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada. The post revealed the wedding date as November 29, 2023, in Imphal, followed by a Mumbai reception. The couple sought blessings and love for their union of cultures.

While Randeep and Lin had not publicly confirmed their relationship earlier, their social media accounts often featured pictures of each other, including a Diwali post with the caption “From ours to yours, Happy Diwali.”
