The excitement surrounding Stree 2 has skyrocketed, especially after the release of its trailer. The film, which hit theaters on August 15, coinciding with India’s Independence Day, takes viewers back to the eerie town of Chanderi. This time, the story introduces a new terrifying entity—a headless figure called Sarkata, who terrorizes the town by abducting women, making the movie a must-watch for horror fans.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Stree 2 reunites the original cast that made the first film a hit. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor return in their lead roles, with Pankaj Tripathi reprising his popular character, Rudra. Fan-favorite characters Jana and Bittu, played by Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, are also back, along with Sunita Rajwar.
A new face in the cast is Tamannaah Bhatia, who makes a special appearance as Shama in the hit song Aaj Ki Raat.

The latest updates suggest that the film will be available on the platform from September 27, but there’s a twist! Initially, the movie will be available for rent starting on that date. However, an official announcement regarding the exact streaming date is still pending, leaving fans eagerly waiting for confirmation.
