Notably, Team Liquid, Team Secret, and Tundra Esports from Western Europe faced unexpected setbacks, failing to advance past the initial group stage. This led to a rarity in Dota 2 competition as no Western European team made it to the playoffs.
The final stage saw Xtreme Gaming, Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, and Team Falcons competing, with the latter emerging victorious. Team Falcons clinched the championship by defeating BetBoom Team 3-0 in the grand final, earning a prize of $300,000.
