Confirmed List of Mortal Kombat 1 Fighter – Official Trailer

The announcement of Mortal Kombat 1 has recently been made, accompanied by the exciting confirmation that several beloved fighters from the past are making a comeback to engage in epic battles once more.

NetherRealm has finally made the long-awaited official announcement for the next installment in its enduring fighting game series. Confirming earlier rumors, the highly-anticipated game is now officially named Mortal Kombat 1.

Serving as both a reboot and a sequel to the franchise, Mortal Kombat 1 appears to continue the narrative from the favorable conclusion of Mortal Kombat 11’s Aftermath DLC. In this storyline, Fire God Liu Kang thwarts Shang Tsung’s manipulative time-warping schemes and crafts a fresh timeline according to his own vision.

List of Confirmed Mortal Kombat 1 Fighters Till Now:

Mortal Kombat 1 has nine confirmed fighters so far, and most of them are shown in the game’s announcement trailer. The trailer starts with a guy waking up in a new world created by Liu Kang. He meets another person who looks like Kung Lao, a classic Mortal Kombat fighter. The trailer suggests that people can choose between peace and fighting. Later, we see a royal carriage with a woman wearing a blue mask, possibly Kitana, and another woman in pink clothes who is revealed to be Mileena. Scorpion and Sub-Zero, the popular characters, appear together, hinting at an unexpected team-up. Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Raiden stand united. Shang Tsung emerges from a portal, and then Liu Kang defeats him as a powerful Fire God. Shang Tsung is a pre-order bonus, so he might not be available in the regular game. The FAQ section on the game’s website confirms that Johnny Cage will also be a playable character. The fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 may have different looks and moves compared to previous games.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches September 19 for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X.
