New names have emerged in the Mahadev money-laundering case investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Following Ranbir Kapoor’s summons, now Kapil Sharma and Hina Khan have also been asked to meet with the agency.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Involvement

Actor Ranbir Kapoor was previously called by the ED to learn about the source of the money he received for promoting the betting app. Sources suggest that he was not summoned as a suspect, but rather to understand his knowledge of the money’s origins. This information may shed light on the promoters’ plans and associations. Ranbir Kapoor had received payments for endorsing the betting app, but he may not be part of any conspiracy.

Other Bollywood Celebrities Involved in Mahadev Betting App Case

Reports indicate that numerous other celebrities and actors may also be summoned soon. As many as 17 Bollywood figures are believed to be involved. This includes Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and others who attended or performed at events organized by the company’s head, Sourabh Chandrakar.

The Mahadev app allowed illegal betting on various online games like poker, card games, and sports like badminton, tennis, football, and cricket. The app is allegedly operated by individuals based in Dubai, where betting is legal, but it is illegal in India. The company’s activities have come under scrutiny in connection with money-laundering allegations.
