Ranveer Singh As ‘Shaktimaan: Bollywood sensation Ranveer Singh is all geared up to step into the iconic shoes of ‘Shaktimaan‘, as per reports from Pinkvilla. The talented actor is slated to take on the lead role in the upcoming movie helmed by director Basil Joseph.
According to the grapevine, production for the film is scheduled to kick off in May next year, with a projected release date in 2026.
But before diving into this exciting venture, Ranveer has prior commitments to fulfill for Farhan Akhtar’s directorial, ‘Don 3’. The blockbuster franchise, previously headlined by the legendary Shah Rukh Khan, is now poised for Ranveer’s charismatic touch.
It seems Ranveer’s calendar is packed for the next couple of years. “Ranveer will be immersing himself in workshops to embody the character of Don. He views this role as a significant responsibility, being the torchbearer for the franchise after the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan,” shared a source quoted by Pinkvilla.

When Will Ranveer Singh Start Shooting for ‘Shaktimaan’
“After wrapping up ‘Don 3’, the spotlight shifts to ‘Shaktimaan’. The project has been in the works for over three years now, and the team has finally cracked a script that pays homage to the timeless legacy of Shaktimaan. With Basil Joseph at the helm and Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala backing the venture as producers, expectations are soaring,” the source added.
Ranveer Singh’s last appearance was in Karan Johar’s directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
